A rarely available and exciting role for a WEB, SEO and SEM Manager has become available as part of our wider Marketing team, reporting into the Head of Marketing. We are a successful, leading global provider of specialised products and engineering solutions with our UK Head Office in Camberley. As a person you naturally view the business from the outside-in, allowing decisions as well as ideas to be guided by the end customer. You actively gather information to understand the business landscape and direction of the market. You understand the importance of quickly building fruitful networks inside and outside the organization. Your responsibilities entail developing, publishing, and editing content to attract potential customers to local website. You will be the main driver of all activities related to our local website and digital channels which are the key tool for lead generation. The role would suit candidates with proven relevant work experience seeking either a step up in their career or someone seeking a sideways move in order to secure abetter work/life balance with a local emplyer who can offer an international stage.
Develop, publish, and edit information to attract potential customers to local website using SEO, SEM and Social Media Tools. Be the main driver of all activities behind local website and online promotions as the key tool for lead generation.
Perform website editorial activities
Adapt product catalogue to local market needs and drive traffic and improve user interaction
Provide local expertise for CMS, MA and other digital tools
Track and analyse key digital metrics
Responsible for SEO optimisation.
Performing website editorial activities to ensure all content is high quality, up-to-date, and consistent with our brand, guidelines and style.
Product catalogue: Understand specific local market needs and adapt it to them. Drive traffic and improve user interaction based on analytics and customer feedback.
Provide local expertise for CMS (Content Management System), MA (Marketing Automation), Social Media and others digital tools.
Responsibility for tracking and analyse key digital metrics (ie: Google analytics, user interface, Social Media…).
SEO optimisation: Optimize web content keywords and text to drive high search engine rankings
Drive traffic and activities through various digital channels (including social media, blogs etc.)
Identifies target audience and analyses their characteristics, behavior and media habits to decide how to best communicate with them on paid channels
Collects and analyses information about different media channels with regards to consumer behavior, circulation, audience trends and the impact of different methods
Designs a media plan for based on the Regional and Sales Company objectives, recommending the most appropriate media to use, effective time spans and locations.
Analyses the effectiveness of the paid campaigns and uses this data to improve future campaigns
Locating and negotiating the purchase of external content and managing the budget
To be successful as our new WEB, SEO and SEM Manager you should have the following:-
Proven work experience within the field of SEO/SEM, marketing automation, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
Strong experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns
Knowledge of Web Content Management Systems, Google Analytics, Webmaster tools, search engine algorithms and ranking methods
Strong excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
