Job Description

Excellent career-development opportunity for an innovative, digitally focussed Head of Marketing with successful campaign strategy development and delivery experience to join a policy, public affairs and political intelligence leader with bases in Westminster, Holyrood, Brussels and Paris.

To succeed in this role we are looking to work with a candidate with an interest in politics who may have worked in the corporate subscription sector e.g. intelligence, media, market research, information or SaaS.

French speaking skills would be advantageous.

The Head of Marketing role:

Reporting to the Managing Director of Political Intelligence, the Marketing Manager will design, support and deliver marketing strategies across Dods corporate subscription services of Political Intelligence to drive revenue growth across the UK and EU.

You will be responsible for translating business objectives into marketing strategies and go-to-market plans to ensure that brand perception, customer acquisition and retention goals are achieved. We are looking for someone to join our growing team who is innovative and challenges our way of thinking.

Key responsibilities:

+ Delivering a scalable inbound lead generation strategy to help drive growth of the business
+ Project managing marketing plans campaigns
+ Being responsible for all aspects of end-to-end campaign management including email; website; digital marketing; analysis; data selections, targeting and build; copywriting; and social media
+ Working with the Head of Content to create compelling content to support lead generation campaigns and audience growth
+ Building strong trusted internal stakeholder relationships with the sales and creative teams
+ Forecasting of the monthly pipeline and presenting weekly results to key internal stakeholders
+ Becoming fluent in the vocabulary of the markets that the company serves, gaining a deep understanding of market structure, trends and participants to effectively design go-to-market plans that resonate with the target audience

About you:

+ 8+ years in marketing, with a proven track record in marketing corporate subscription services (international experience a plus)
+ Excellent copywriting and communication skills
+ Track record of planning and executing results driven marketing campaigns with experience working with or managing agencies.
+ A keen interest in politics as well as a good understanding of the political calendar, policy processes and political news landscape
+ Demonstrable experience of development and delivery of successful data-driven marketing plans
+ Experience in CRM systems and marketing automation platforms
+ Ability to report and present to senior management
