Do you know your way around paid social? Are you excited about crafting and optimising multichannel acquisition campaigns?

We now have a unique opportunity for a resourceful and results-focused paid media specialist to join our team. 

Reporting to the Chief Engagement and Growth Officer, your primary goal will be to grow an engaged community of doctors, surgeons, dentists, nurses and other healthcare professionals in the US. You’ll also work closely with the Community and Clinical teams to amplify high quality medical education to doctors interested in developing their knowledge of global health, neuromuscular disorders, rare diseases, oncology and more. 

Your skills and experience:

You will be results-focused, creative and data-driven, with a knack for leveraging paid digital channels to deliver stellar growth and engagement. You’ll need to be a pro at planning and creating impactful content, developing standalone campaigns, copywriting for a range of channels, and be comfortable working with data. 

You will have experience in growth marketing and social media management, with hands-on skills in creating ad campaigns, custom audiences, precisely targeted audiences, and developing effective multi-channel retargeting campaigns. 

Ideally, you will have experience tailoring content and campaigns to professionals in the US, and experience working in healthcare and/or medical education. 

Key Responsibilities:

Paid Media 

  • Ownership of paid marketing platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google
  • Track best practice and monitor industry trends
  • Develop, implement and manage paid marketing campaigns end-to-end
  • Optimise against key metrics, including CPC, CPA, CTR, open rates, and CPL
  • Draft and optimise copy and headlines for paid marketing campaigns
  • Manage development of creative assets for paid media, including clear brief for digital graphic designer

Organic Growth and Engagement

  • Ownership of MedShr social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy with executional support from Community Executives
  • Track best practice and monitor industry trends
  • Monitor and improve performance of all marketing channels
  • Ensure brand and channel standards are maintained


The ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least 3 years hands-on experience with paid social media
  • Have experience managing concurrent paid media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Be knowledgeable of current social media trends and driven to explore new opportunities
  • Be digitally savvy, with ability to quickly develop mastery of new apps and platforms
  • Demonstrate stellar attention to detail
  • Have impeccable grammar and spelling (including US vs. UK differences)
  • Have a keen eye for design and ability to create or brief engaging content
  • Be comfortable working within strict guidelines and deadlines
  • Be organized, adaptable and capable of effectively prioritizing workload
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative
  • Have a professional manner, and confidence communicating with senior stakeholders
  • Have knowledge of medical terminology or demonstrate the ability to learn it
  • Have experience in a health tech, tech start-up or med tech environment

    Our salary is £35,000 - £45,000+ depending on experience and skill set, share options and discretionary performance bonus.
