Key goals of the role:

+ To write engaging and compelling copy to spark interest, start conversations and establish credibility with key audiences
+ To bring our brand to life in words across a range of platforms

Key Responsibilities:

+ Content creation and planning – Plan, write and produce marketing, PR, sales and lead generation content in a range of formats that looks and sounds nothing less than brilliant
+ SEO – Help drive website traffic and lead generation through careful research and intelligently deployed SEO-rich copy,
+ Industry Research – Get under the skin of customers and prospects to interpret and connect with their needs through engaging and informative content
+ Tone of voice – Define and uphold our brand tone of voice across all online and offline written content and support team members with proof-reading external content to uphold company standards.
+ Website – Manage and enhance company website and CMS, using research, SEO tools and analytics to drive content plans and execution
+ Social media – Build our reputation and audience engagement through creative management of social media content delivery
+ Adwords / PPC – Assist lead-gen and sales activity with data-driven approach to driving website traffic through SEO/SEM
+ Analysis and learning – Continually seek new ways to engage and influence by analysing response rates and interactions, and create content to meet those evolving needs
+ Other – Get stuck in with general team support, whether that’s proofreading or other content requirements a small-but-growing business might realistically need

About You:

As our in-house copywriter you’ll already have a way with words and a commitment to impeccably crafted communications, along with the technical interest and capability to develop your digital marketing skills. You’ll have drive and enthusiasm and a knack for interpreting what makes different audiences tick and take action and be adept at flexing your style to suit the platform and audience without straying from our brand voice.

You’ll have a keen interest in developing your skills and applying analytics to your work to drive performance and engagement, and will need some knowledge of SEO, digital advertising and presentation software, which we can help you develop.

Cherries on the cake would include knowledge of the retail industry, experience with platforms like Hubspot or other marketing / CRM services, and visual content platforms like Canva or iMovie.
